Cal North Wins Two Far West ODP Championships in Arizona |
Cal North kicked off the year with the 2025 Far West ODP Championships in Meza, Arizona. Ten Olympic Development Program teams made the trip to play against some of the best state teams from the region. Cal North had four teams in the Finals, with the 2012 and 2008 Boys bringing home two regional titles back to Northern California. Click image to WATCH VIDEO. |

Twenty-two players named to Best XI Teams following 2025 Far West ODP Championships |
Twenty-two players named to Best XI Teams following 2025 Far West ODP Championships |
Following the event, coaches nominated two players from their team to be included in the Cal North Best XI Team for the 2025 Far West ODP Championships. The 2008 Girls and the 2008 Boys teams had three selections each for being the older teams reaching the Championship match. In total, 22 players and four coaches are being recognized for their performance during the 2025 Far West ODP Championships in January. |
Following the event, coaches nominated two players from their team to be included in the Cal North Best XI Team for the 2025 Far West ODP Championships. 2024-2025 Cal North State Cup Series begins as U9-U12's played in Danville Cal North held the 2024-2025 Cal North State Cup for U9-U12 age groups on December 14th & 15th at the beautiful Mustang Soccer Complex in Danville, California. Cal North State Cup Champions in the U12 Boys & Girls age groups earned the right to represent Northern California next summer at the U12 Far West Regional Championships event that will be taking place in Boise, Idaho along with the 2025 US Youth Soccer Far West Presidents Cup. |

Our updated Referee Abuse Prevention Policy (Policy 531-9) is designed to make youth and amateur matches more safer, more fun, and more empowering for everyone involved. Referee abuse will not be tolerated. We're asking everyone to do their part by knowing the rules, reporting referee abuse, and embodying behaviors that represent the best of us.

This marks the fourth consecutive year that U.S. Soccer approves all budgeted funds for grants. In line with U.S. Soccer’s strategic vision and accelerated initiatives, the grants will help grow the game and foster the best playing environments by funding programming focused on increasing accessibility and participation for soccer in all its forms as well as providing resources to increase the availability of referee and coaching education resources for several members across the country. |

Throughout her time at ODP, she led the 2000's Girls to the 2015 Far West ODP Championships Finals and represented the US Women's Youth National Team.
